'Workbench' Overview chapter shows the 'Workbench' method's technique for placing a cubie already in the workbench.

this page takes a closer look at the same technique, extending it to the general case when cubies are not already inside the workbench but must be brought there.

Pratically, the same technique must be executed twice:


Corners and edges share the same pattern, but they involve different cubies:


  Buttons Click these 3 buttons

1.1) Brings the cubie YG into the 'workbench' at position ref .

1.2) Moves the cubie YG from ref to rus (To avoid 'side effect from the next rotation)
1.3) undo the first rotation (Restoring the original configuration).

2.1) Brings the destination cubie from mub onto the 'workbench' at position muf
2.2) Moves the cubie YG from rus to muf
2.3) undo the first rotation and brings the cubie YG to its final position: mub

 



1.1) Brings the cubie OYG into the 'workbench' at position rub .

1.2) Moves the cubie OYG from rub to rdf (To avoid 'side effect from the next rotation)
1.3) undo the first rotation (Restoring the original configuration).

2.1) Brings the destination cubie from lub into the 'workbench' at position rub
2.2) Moves the cubie OYG from rdf to rub
2.3) undo the first rotation and brings the cubie OYG to its final position: lub
